🗣 UPDATED: OFFICIAL COMPANY STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

NOW BOOKING STUDIO APPOINTMENTS beginning June 1st at our Westlake studio location ONLY. Our studio is located in The Workshop at 26943 Westwood Rd, Westlake, OH 44145 Appointments can be booked by calling or texting 216-282-7806 or emailing us at info@relaxmobilespa.com


MOBILE SERVICES (home, office and hotels) are suspended until after June 15th. We will update clients on the protocol for mobile appointments as the date nears.


We are taking the following mandatory precautions and procedures given to us by the Ohio Medical Board to help stop the spread of COVID-19:

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

  • Social distancing will apply with exception that the distance between the client and practitioner may be less than six feet during massage treatments
  • Practitioners are required to wear facial coverings at all times
  • Practitioners must perform daily symptom self-assessments
  • Practitioners are required to stay home if symptomatic *Per the CDC, symptoms include cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell
  • We require regular hand washing by practitioners. Hand washing shall occur between each client; if requested by client, gloves may be used 
  • Hand sanitizers will be available in high-contact locations, common areas, restrooms, and treatment room
  • Practitioners will wear aprons, they must be changed between each client
  • We will conduct a daily deep cleaning and sanitation of all tools, including massage tables, using CDC and EPA approved cleaning and disinfectant methods. We will ensure thorough workstation/table, equipment, device, and surface disinfection
  • Use of disposable medical tissue/poly stretcher sheets as a protective layer will be changed between each client 
  • Products such as oils and lotions will be removed from the treatment room and the bottles sanitized with approved disinfectants between uses
  • Pump bottles and oil/lotion holsters are prohibited
  • Before leaving the treatment room, practitioners will remove gloves (if applicable), apply a generous amount of hand sanitizer per CDC application guidelines (at least 60% alcohol), and use a previously readied paper towel or disinfectant wipe to open and close the treatment room door while leaving the room
  • Practitioners will dispose of single-use materials between clients
  • Laundry: Laundry will be stored in covered, sanitized containers • Use of appropriate temperatures when washing and drying items to ensure sanitation (hot water for washing linens; ensure items are completely dried)  • To minimize the possibility of dispersing virus through the air, do not shake dirty laundry • Remove all linens, blankets, and table setups; fold items in on themselves before putting in a closed bin or hamper 
  • We will maintain accurate appointment and walk-in records including date and time of service, name of client, and contact information to assist in contact tracing if necessary

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM OUR CLIENTS

  • Clients are required to fill out their Client Information, Liability Waiver, and Informed Consent forms prior to their appointment and return them to info@relaxmobilespa.com Forms can be found here 
  • We ask clients to wait outside in their vehicle or, if not possible, at the entrance of the studio with at least six feet between other clients until your scheduled appointment. We will text you when your practitioner and treatment room are ready
  • Practice social distancing. Ensure a minimum of six feet between each other when not on the massage table. No hugs or handshakes, sorry
  • Customers are required to wear face coverings at all times. If the client is not wearing a face cover, we can offer a disposable one
  • If a client is unable to wear a face covering for health concerns or refuses, we must reschedule when restrictions are lifted 
  • We offer alternatives to face coverings when the client is in a prone (face down) position. This includes draping the client’s face cradle with a thin cotton pillowcase (cradle cover changed and cradle disinfected after each use) Noting the potential discomfort clients may have wearing a mask or draping in prone position, the client may request side-lying positioning with face covering in place
  • When switching from prone to supine (face up) position, the client should put their face covering on before they turn over into the supine position
  • Upon arrival, clients will participate in a doorway screening assessment including a temporal temperature scan. Anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or more will be asked to reschedule their appointment 
  • We ask clients not to enter if symptomatic or if someone in their household is *Per the CDC, symptoms include cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell
  • We ask elderly clients, prenatal, and at-risk populations book their appointments between the hours of 9 - 11:30 a.m., our first available time slots
  • Only scheduled clients will be allowed in the establishment for their service; unless client must be accompanied by a caregiver. No children or guests can accompany client
  • No walk-in clients; services must be by appointment only
  • Only individual massages (i.e., no group or couple massages) are permitted
  • We ask clients to wash and sanitize hands before going to the treatment room and ensure that the hand sanitizer is applied liberally and properly
  • Clients should consider bringing their own water, self serve stations and refreshments will not be provided

Centrally located in Cleveland, OH -  Cleveland Mobile Massage can reach countless clients in the Northeast Ohio area providing mobile massage services. Cleveland Mobile Massage was created to provide in-home and in-suite table massages, provide corporate chair massage, and to attend spa and promotional events.
